Resident and Medical Student Rotation Offerings

Clinical/Field Exposure 

• 3 MICU ground shifts 
• 1 Air shift 
• 1 SCTU (Specialty Care Transport Unit) shift 
• 1 Physician Response Vehicle shift 
• 1 Communication Center and Patient Transfer Center shadow shift 

Education/Administrative Exposure 

• Attendance at weekly Friday EMS Fellowship Didactic Sessions 

                   - Presentation of topic of interest on 2nd week of rotation 

• Attendance at weekly Wednesday EM Residency Conference 
• Attendance at monthly Medical Oversight Board meeting** 
• Attendance at monthly Quality Assurance meeting** 
• Attendance at monthly Journal Club** 
• Attendance at monthly ‘Cases and Cocktails’** 

Participation in any other EMS associated meetings or events (Mass gathering/tactical etc.) that happen to overlap with your rotation.
